Warriors rout Spurs 136-100, take 2-0 series lead

The Golden State Warriors have routed the San Antonio Spurs 136-100 at the Oracle Arena for a 2-0 best of 7 playoff series lead.

Stephen Curry was especially sharp from long distance on Tuesday. His three-pointer in the first quarter gave the Warriors a 30-16 lead. The hosts controlled the second quarter and went to locker room with a 72-44 lead at the intermission.

The Warriors maintained their dominance in the third and final quarters which led to a 36-point victory.

Curry scored 29 points for the Warriors, while Jonathon Simmons had 22 for the Spurs. Game 3 will be held in San Antonio on Saturday.
