Millions of crabs invade Cuba's Bay of Pigs

Each spring millions of small reddish land crabs emerge from the moist forest surrounding Cuba's Bay of Pigs to breed in the nearby sea.

Footage has been released which shows Millions of crabs invading Cuba's Bay of Pigs. The red, yellow and black crabs are undertaking their annual spring migration from the forest to the sea, where they aim to release their eggs. 

The crabs cause chaos as they descend on the roads, causing tire punctures and creeping into people’s houses. The crab's journey is not without danger as they are at the mercy of cars and birds.
