These are some of the headlines we are tracking for you in this episode of On the News Line:

US-North Korea tensions remain

While there has been no let up in tensions in the Korean Peninsula, some believe the US is still hesitant about its plans to launch a military action against Pyongyang given the risks involved. On the other hand, it appears that calls are growing stronger by countries like China against what many see as US perilous interference in East Asia.

Hamas’ new manifesto

The Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, has unveiled a new policy document under which it has accepted the establishment of a Palestinian state in territories occupied by Israel in the six-day war of 1967 and afterwards. Many have called this a strategic policy shift on part of a movement which has long been at the forefront of the fight against Israel’s aggression.
