Desert camp in Jordan offers Martian experience
A desert camp in Jordan is offering tourists a unique experience to imagine what it might be like to live on Mars.
Sun City in ‘Wadi Rum’ desert is made up of 20 dome tents. Tourists who look for an out of this world experience are able to book one of the luxury tents offering a unique view of the desert.
Each dome comes with its own terrace, room service, private bathroom, air conditioning, and a panoramic window. The camp also boasts a restaurant serving traditional Bedouin meals. Visitors are taken on guided tours and can ride camels into the sunset.
Wadi Rum desert has been the inspiration for many films, including Lawrence of Arabia which helped cement its place as a tourist destination.
