UNESCO passes resolution calling Israel “occupying power”

In a decision supported by 22 countries, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has passed a resolution denying Israel’s claims to Jerusalem al-Quds. The motion makes it clear that Tel Aviv has no legal or historical rights to any part of the city.
