Toddler in China survives being run over by 2 SUVs

A screengrab from the video shows the toddler on the road.

A toddler has survived being run over, not once but twice in a row, on a busy street in China. Footage from surveillance cameras shows the little girl running into traffic in the southwestern province of Sichuan.

She immediately disappears under a utility vehicle that runs over her reportedly because she was in the driver’s blind spot. She emerges unharmed but a second SUV car driving close behind follows to pass her by.

The child is seen again on camera lying on the ground with her face down as her grandmother dashes into the street to take hold of her. She was immediately taken for medical care. Doctors say the 2-year-old only suffered minor bruising, but according to her parents, she’s still a little frightened by the incident.
