NHL Playoffs: Predators edge past Blues 4-3

The Nashville Predators have gained a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of their second round of playoff series.

The visiting Predators jumped in front when Colin Wilson scored a power-play goal in just 11 minutes of the first period. The Predators led 2-0 after P.K. Subban scored his first goal of the playoffs in the second period. Only two minutes later, Colton Parayko cut the deficit for the hosts to 2-1.

Filip Forsberg netted the puck that gave a 3-1 advantage to the Predators. The Blues managed to level 3-3 after nine minutes in the final frame, but Vernon Fiddler managed to score with five minutes left of the game and the predators went back in front 4-3.
