Saeed Nimer, a professor of political science at the Birzeit University, says the international community and the Arab world must put pressure on the Israeli regime to adopt a proper stance in dealing with Palestinian prisoners who go on hunger strike.

“We are addressing all parliaments and international community, human rights organizations and the United Nations to interfere for the sake of the Palestinian demands and Palestinian prisoners and to stand against the Israeli measures,” Nimer said.
