Kawhi Leonard has scored a game-high 37 points and added 11 rebounds to help the San Antonio Spurs beat the visiting Memphis Grizzlies 96-82 to take a 2-0 lead in the NBA playoff series.

On Monday night, Leonard opened the game, making his first three shots and four free throws as the Spurs took a 26-point lead at break.

However, Memphis sprang into life after the interval and scored at different occasions to cut the deficit to four points early in the final period. But, three-pointers by Pau Gasol and Tony Parker finally put Memphis away for good as it was the Spurs who won the contest with 14 points.
