The Toronto Maple Leafs have edged past the Washington Capitals 4-3 in overtime to take a 2-1 playoff series lead in the NHL.

With the score tied at 3-3 at end of regulation on Monday night, the game had to be decided in overtime just like the previous two playoff encounters.

And, that was when Tyler Bozak scored his first career playoff goal to seal the victory for Toronto and help them take the lead in the series. Game 4 will be played on Wednesday night.
