In the English Premier League, Manchester City have moved into the top three in standings by beating Southampton 3-0.

Vincent Kompany opened the scoring some ten minutes into the second half with a header. It was the 31-year-old’s first Premier League goal in 20 months.

Leroy Sane fired-in after a flowing move to double City’s lead in the 77th minute, before Sergio Aguero headed-home three minutes later to secure the victory, which saw Pep Guardiola’s men move one point above Liverpool, who face West Brom on Sunday.
