The visiting Columbus Blue Jackets have registered a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Locked at 2-2 on the final day of the regular season at the Air Canada Center, Cam Atkinson scored late in the second period with a short-handed goal to make it 3-2 and hand Columbus the victory.

Toronto will next take on the Washington Capitals in the opening round of their first post-season since 2013, while Columbus will face the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins, in the first round.
