Rapeseed flowers are in full bloom and have turned China’s ‘Shanshi’ province into a sea of gold.
The flowers cover some 75,000 hectares of land in the northwestern province and attract many tourists to the area.
In autumn, the flowers will turn into cash crops, providing China with up to 15,000,000 tons of edible and industrial oils.
Rapeseed oil is low in saturated fat and contains omegas 3, 6 and 9 as well as vitamin E.
