An environmentalist’s utopia has become possible as an Eco-friendly Florida town opens for business.

Babcock Ranch city is a planned community with an area of nearly 70 square kilometers. It has all things green, from a farm-to-table eatery to driver-less shuttles and homes equipped with green technology.

On top of all that, the town’s energy comes from a massive solar farm. These features have lured in more than 15,000 people looking for green lifestyle.

The privately-owned ranch belongs to retired American football player Syd Kitson. The 58-year-old has been developing the town from scratch since 2006 and sees a bright and sustainable future for it.
