Italy’s Juventus have reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League as they saw off 10-man Porto 1-0 in Turin.

Juve's 2-0 win in Portugal three weeks earlier ensured they went into the second leg in a comfortable position.

Any hope of a comeback from the visitors ended just before half-time when Porto defender Maxi Pereira was sent off for handball on the line.

Paulo Dybala then scored from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute of the first half as the Old Lady went on to keep their sixth clean sheet in eight Champions League matches. However Juventus have failed to win Europe's top competition since 1996.
