The visiting Chicago Bulls have managed to snap a season high five-game losing streak by overcoming the Charlotte Hornets 115-109 at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
Chicago started the match with full force on Monday and took a 36-24 lead by the end of the first period. Charlotte, however, came back in the second and won 24-22 to trail by ten points at the intermission.
Both sides fought hard in the third and finished it at 29-29. But, Chicago were still ahead 87-77. And, with five minutes remaining in the final quarter, Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb them knocked down a couple of threes to cut the Bulls' lead to 97-94.
But, Nikola Mirotic managed to move the Bulls back up by nine points as he canned a three-pointer off an assist from Butler and from the on Chicago held on to top Charlotte 115-109.
