La Liga leaders Barcelona have made an incredible and unbelievable comeback in their round of 16 2nd leg tie against Paris Saint German, dismantling the French side 6-1, to progress into the quarter-finals of the competition, on a 6-5 aggregate victory, in an action packed encounter at Camp Nou.

The Catalan giant’s entered the Wednesday’s encounter, off the back of a huge 4-0 first leg defeat at the Parc de Prince, and needed to overturn the 4-goal deficit, to progress into the next round. Luis Suarez gave Barcelona a great boost in the match, as he scored the opener as early as the 3rd minute by nodding home a close range effort.

The home side continued to exert pressure on the visitors, and got their 2nd of the match in the 40th minute, through Layvin Kurzawa’s own goal.

Argentina ace Lionel Messi then made it 3-0 after the restart by converting a penalty.

But Edinson Cavani silenced the home crowed in the 62nd minute, as he volleyed a wonderful finish into the back of the net, to put his side back on track, and left the hosts with a mountain to climb.

But Luis Enrique’s men didn’t give up, they scored their 4th goal of the match in the 88th minute ,when Brazilian superstar Neymar curled a lovely free-kick into the back of the net from 20 yards out, to make it 4-1.

And the same man scored his 2nd and Barca’s 5th of the match, some 2 minutes later by converting a penalty.

And just as everyone thought that It was game-over for the Catalans, Sergi Roberto booked Barca’s spot into the quarter-finals of the tournament, as he slid into the penalty area to lift a close-range effort over the keeper, following a great cross form Neymar.

So 6-1 the final Score, and what a game and what a victory for Barcelona.
