Russia’s Siberia has hosted a 155-kilometer dog sled race on the frozen surface of Lake Baikal.

The annual Baikal dog sledding trips have drawn scores of adventurous tourists to frosty Siberia.

Huskies and malamutes accompany participants who come to the lake from every corner of the world.

This year's sled race is set to run over several days, with the dogs sledding through Lake Baikal, the Baikal National Park and the Baikal Nature Biosphere Reserve.
