Luis Enrique’s Barcelona have earned a convincing 5-0 victory over Celta Vigo, thanks to Lionel Messi who scored a brace and provided two assists.
Enrique’s pending departure had no apparent ill-effect on Barcelona, who staged an impressive performance at Camp Nou.
Messi opened the scoring in the 24th minute, before setting-up Neymar, to dink the ball over the Celta keeper to make it 2-0, five minutes before the break.
Ivan Rakitic added a 3rd in the 57th minute, before Samuel Umtiti, assisted by Messi, scored his first Barca goal.
The Argentinean star capped the scoring with another individual effort to help the Catalans stay at the top of the Spanish league, a single point above Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
