Iraqi forces make new gains west, southwest of Mosul

The Iraqi army and allied forces press ahead with their offensive to retake western Mosul from Daesh terrorists. Mosul International Airport, the Ghazlani military base and the Haw al-Jawsaq district in the city's west have all been liberated since the beginning of the offensive. Press TV correspondent Altaf Ahmad, who’s accompanying the Iraqi troops has more from the ongoing battle.
