Manchester United have cruised to the last 16 of Europa League with a 1-0 victory at Saint-Etienne.

Leading 3-0 from the first leg at Old Trafford a week ago, the Red Devils knew they wouldn’t have a tough job against their Wednesday hosts.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan finished the tie after just 16 minutes with a clever finish on Daley Blind’s left flank cross.

However, both the Armenian and Michael Craig were substituted mainly due to old injuries which could impact manager Jose Mourinho's team selection for Sunday's EFL Cup final against Southampton.
