In the National Hockey League, the visiting Florida Panthers have registered a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues at the Scottrade Center.

The Panthers went ahead in the first period when Jonathan Marchessault scored his 17th goal of the season, making it 1-0.

But the Blues managed to tie the match at one a piece in the second frame on Kyle Brodziak's goal. With just seconds left in the final quarter, Vincent Trocheck fired a slap shot past the goaltender to hand Florida the victory.
