Demonstrators urge MPs to ban Trump

People in the UK have held nationwide rallies urging the government to withdraw an offer of a state visit to US President Donald Trump. The demonstrations coincided with a non-binding debate in Parliament regarding Trump’s visit. This after nearly two million Brits signed a petition asking for his invitation to be cancelled because of his policies against Muslims, immigrants, women amongst others.
