A traveling telescope is being moved between schools in Kenya to let students look at the stars.

The company behind the ‘Traveling Telescope,' says the move is aimed at inspiring the next generation of astronomers along the way as they travel to some of most remote areas. It's the first time the students will have a chance to see the mysteries of the universe up-close.

The firm charges a minimal fee of two to three dollars per child in international or private schools. Along with the telescope, virtual reality goggles are also helping children learn more about the solar system.

The company says it hopes the traveling telescope will reach many children across Africa. Spreading the message of the universe and the science astronomy has to offer.
