Spanish giants Real Madrid have come back from a goal down to defeat Serie A club Napoli 3-1 in their UEFA Champions League round-of-16 clash at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The visitors, who had remained unbeaten in their previous 18 competitive games, started the Wednesday match in style and shocked the home crowd after finding the net as early as the 8th minute through Italy international Lorenzo Insigne who curled an unstoppable shot into the bottom-right corner to make it 1-0.

But, Real responded soon and scored the equalizer some 10 minutes later when Karim Benzema thumped home a wonderful header following a beautiful cross from Carvajal, making it 1-1.

Los Blancos then went ahead for the first time in the match shortly after the break on a lovely goal by Toni Kroos. And Casemiro sealed the deal for Real Madrid in the 54th minute with a venomous half-volley, leaving Zinedine Zidane's men in a perfect situation for their second leg clash.
