In the English Premier League, Manchester City have moved up to second in the standings after a hard earned 2-0 victory against Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's side took the lead on the half-hour mark through Raheem Sterling who smashed in at the far post for his 5th Premier League goal against Bournemouth.
Some 20 minutes from time Sterling sent in a cross which deflected off Sergio Aguero and Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings and found its way into the net to give City a 2-0 victory on Monday as they jumped three places to second in the table, eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
