500kg Egyptian woman in Mumbai for treatment
A 36-year-old Egyptian woman who weighs 500 kilograms has arrived in Mumbai for treatment.
‘Eman Ahmed’ will be treated by a bariatric surgeon in the Indian city. 2 doctors accompanied Eman from Egypt to India.
She was transported from airport to the hospital in a makeshift bed placed in the back of a truck. A special crane was used to carry the bed inside the building. Hospital officials say she was safely admitted in the hospital and will undergo several surgeries soon.
The treatment will last 6 months. The hospital will be treating her for free.
