The US administrations and mainstream media have been busy to demonize the Islamic Republic of Iran, but they could not even separate regional states from Iran, says Omar Nashabi, editor of al-Akhbar newspaper from Beirut.
Given the fact that better relations with other Muslim nations is “in the spirit of the Iranian Revolution,” Tehran has succeeded in foiling all plots by American establishments trying to spread Iranophobia, Nashabi said on Friday night.
He further pointed to late Imam Khomeini’s stance about the nature of the Islamic Revolution, adding that the founder of the Islamic Republic established the state as an Islamic country, which respects rights of all people including Sunni Muslims.

Nashabi also referred to the failure of the new US administration in its propaganda campaign against Iran even inside the country, saying “the American people are more ready to learn about Iran and its Islamic Revolution,” because they are getting more familiar with the facts of the Islamic political establishment."

The analyst also referred to US President Donald Trump's executive order on Muslim travel ban adding, the Trump administration wants to stop Iranians from entering the United States, because the Iranian nationals can “spread the truth about the Islamic Revolution."
Meanwhile, Kaveh Afrasiabi, an author and political scientist from Boston, said that Many Americans do not buy Iranophobic propaganda any more.
Afrasiabi noted that the US animosity toward Iran is today as strong as it was back in 1979 and Washington continues its hostility toward the Islamic Republic.
The author further stated that 22 Bahman (February 10) is the anniversary of liberation of Iran from being a client state for the United States.
On Friday February 10, millions of Iranians took part in mass rallies across the country to celebrate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Iranian demonstrators have sent the right signal to the Western powers, especially the US, that they must respect the Iranian people and their leadership, Afrasiabi asserted.
The 22 Bahman rallies display national unity and responding to anti-Iran rhetoric propagated by the United States, he said.
The Iranian people have shown their steadfastness in preserving principles of their anti-hegemonic revolution and proved that they are determined to resist American bullying, he pointed out.
