EU's refugee policies described as appalling

Rights groups say the European Union continues to treat Syrian refugees appallingly. Meanwhile, experts have gathered in Brussels to discuss the EU's controversial policy of deporting refugees to Turkey and also the dire conditions under which refugees are living on the Greek islands.
