World's longest dust screen built to tackle pollution in China

World's longest dust screen is currently under construction in China to tackle the problem of pollution.

China has designed a gigantic dust screen to tackle the problem of pollution in northern Hebei Province. A 23-meter-high, 2900-meter-long dust screen is currently under construction in Huanghua.

The shade will connect with another already constructed 5000-meter dust screen to encircle all the coal and mineral heaps in the port. It will effectively improve dust control and reduce the flour dust and coal dust pollution.

The new project with 3 more different screens in the province will establish a net spanning over 17 kilometers, that will be the largest in the world.
