Qatar Open: Djokovic defeats Verdasco 4-6, 7-6, 6-3
Second seed Novak Djokovic has also progressed into the final of the competition after beating Spanish player Fernando Verdasco.
The Serb star got off to a shaky start and lost the opening set 4-6 as he lacked focus and precision. The world No.2 , however, refocused and managed to take the following two sets 7-6, 6-3, surviving five match points and making only one unforced error in the decider.
This has been Djokovic’s seventh straight victory in all competitions.
