Copa del Rey: Real Madrid 3-0 Sevilla

Meanwhile, Spanish giants Real Madrid have taken a commanding lead in their Copa del Rey last-16 clash by overwhelming Sevilla 3-nil at Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos took an early lead on Wednesday through James Rodriguez who curled the ball into the corner of the net to make it 1-nil in the 11th minute.

French international Raphael Varan then added Real’s second in the 29th minute when he headed the ball beyond the helpless keeper.

And James sealed the deal for Real Madrid one minute before halftime from the penalty spot as Los Blancos took their unbeaten run to 38 matches in all competitions with the 3-nil victory.
