South Korea’s expanding corruption scandal is further implicating President Park Geun-hye as testimonies by aides which have been leaked to the media tell of her alleged role in directing criminal activities. Prosecutors suspect Park improperly orchestrated the approval of the merger of two subsidiaries of South Korean electronics company Samsung, which estimates say cost the National Pension Service 60 million dollars.
