Indian forces use pellet guns to suppress protests in Kashmir

The recent violence in Indian-controlled Kashmir has brought pellet guns into focus. More than 100 people are being treated for severe eye injuries after security forces fired pellet guns to contain the protests. The violence was triggered after the killing of a pro-independence leader in July.
