Tokyo Olympic organizers have unveiled a smaller budget for the 2020 Summer Games, after coming under pressure to cut the increasing costs.

The organizers have set a budget of between 15 to 16 billion US dollars for the games. The figure is significantly lower than the budget cap of 20 billion dollars revealed by Tokyo last month.

The latest figure was disclosed at talks between the International Olympic Committee and the Tokyo and national governments, who are meeting regularly to make more savings in the future.
