Lawmaker warns against India becoming US military client

India’s main Left part has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to table all defense deals with the United States at the Indian Parliament arguing that the country’s foreign policy is under threat. That argument comes after Washington announced India as a major defense partner, allowing its companies to sell more advanced and sensitive military technologies to the Asian giant.
