Bizarre noodles become food craze in Vietnam

The hot dish, Singapore flying noodle which has appeared in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi, now attracts many customers to enjoy.

If you’re into innovative ways of serving food, then you should pay a visit to Vietnam where a dish called 'flying noodles' has become the latest trend.

The noodles served at a stall in Ho Chi Minh city are just like normal Asian noodles when it comes to ingredients. But the chefs at the particular stall serve their noodles as they are suspended on chopsticks, which makes them appear as if they are hanging in the air.

The rolled-up noodles have to be mixed with sauce or dressing from a traditional bowl that lies underneath before being savored. The dish brings hundreds of people to the stall daily. Owners however see the dish as only a commercial way to attract more people to experience traditional high quality food.

While widely well-known among locals and online, the Vietnamese restaurant is not the first to serve flying noodles. The food was created by a Japanese restaurant based in Singapore back in October and has become an internet sensation ever since.
