Non-OPEC oil producers agree to cut output

Oil producers outside the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, agree to cut output by nearly 560,000 barrels a day. The cuts combined with the reduction promised by OPEC are expected to boost prices and re-balance the market by the first half of next year.
