Afghans mark the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammad .

Muslims around the world are celebrating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. Afghan people are also marking the occasion by holding ceremonies across the Central Asian country. On this felicitous occasion, Afghans also celebrate a seven-day period, known as the Unity Week, which focuses on strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims from different sects.
