Western countries continue to shun Syrian refugees

EU legislators say the West continues to dodge its responsibilities regarding the ongoing Syrian refugee crisis. During a debate at the European Parliament, MEPs also called for greater financial aid from the EU to help tackle the growing humanitarian crisis inside Syria.
