US President-elect Donald Trump has again denounced CNN, saying the news network has become "worse" since he defeated Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the November 8 election.
“I thought that @CNN would get better after they failed so badly in their support of Hillary Clinton however, since election, they are worse!” Trump wrote in a tweet on Tuesday morning.
Trump had repeatedly accused the media, particularly CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, of bias over their lop-sided coverage of the election campaign.
In addition, he called the election process rigged, and said the media was colluding with Clinton in order to stop him winning the White House.
On Sunday night, Trump tweeted that there were “serious voter fraud” issues “in Virginia, New Hampshire and California - so why isn't the media reporting on this? Serious bias - big problem!”
Earlier on Sunday, Trump claimed that “millions of people” voted illegally and said he would have won the popular vote if those "illegal" votes were discounted.
In a Twitter message on Monday night, Trump slammed CNN for reports rejecting his claim that millions had voted against him illegally.
Trump also shared a tweet from a supporter who attacked CNN’s reporter, Jeff Zeleny.
"@FiIibuster: @jeffzeleny Pathetic - you have no sufficient evidence that Donald Trump did not suffer from voter fraud, shame! Bad reporter.”
On Monday evening Trump wrote in tweeted that “CCN is so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton, and yet her loss in a landslide, that they don't know what to do.”
Trump’s campaign has been hit with many controversies since its inception in early 2015, but he still managed to stun the world by defeating the heavily-favored Democrat candidate, Clinton, in the election.
But despite Trump’s landslide victory against Clinton, CNN and other media outlets have not stopped targeting him; rather some of them have increased their attacks against the billionaire businessman who has never held an elected office.
