Australian artists in Brisbane have designed a temporary and mysterious series of walls of mirrors, leading you into confusion and perhaps delight.

The ‘House of Mirrors’ that is created for a Tasmanian festival, is made without any digital effects. With almost 100 mirrors and 40 tons of steel it took four days to install the complex and winding maze.

The artists say they wanted to recreate the feeling of mirror mazes found in amusement parks more than a century ago. The installation has attracted 15 thousand visitors in a week.

The ‘House of Mirrors’ will travel to Sydney for a festival in January and then to Melbourne before heading overseas.
