Oxfam warns inequality still high in Italy

A new Oxfam report has revealed that the 62 richest billionaires own as much wealth as the poorer half of the global population combined.

A recent study by anti-poverty group Oxfam has found that socio-economic inequality is plaguing Italy like never before. The richest, who constitute one percent of the Italian population, own over 23 percent of net national wealth. People are of the idea that the country’s complex tax system is too lenient towards multinational companies and wealthy individuals. Press TV’s Max Civili reports from the Italian capital
