Hundreds of thousands of South Koreans have rallied through the main thoroughfares of the capital Seoul, demanding President Park Geun-hye to resign. Park is implicated in a scandal for seeking advice from a friend and having her edit the president’s speeches. The woman, who is seen as Park’s confidante, is accused of using her influence to receive tens of millions of dollars in donations for her charities.
