Mars atmosphere matches Earth's turbulent nature

Scientists are now saying that the atmosphere on Mars is even more like Earth than we thought.

Experts at NASA have found that the behavior of temperature, pressure and wind on the Red Planet is remarkably similar to that on Earth.

Mathematically, the exponents of the power laws that govern their behavior are virtually identical.

The new finding suggests that certain patterns likely emerge in all planetary atmospheres under the laws of physics.
