Buckingham Palace art gallery unveils diverse portraits

A new exhibition focuses on portraits has been held in Buckingham Palace art gallery.

Buckingham Palace is unveiling a new exhibit at its art gallery, exploring portraits regardless of form.

From small sketches to elaborate 5-meter-wide oil paintings, the Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace has it all in the new exhibition entitled “Portrait of Artists”.

There are over 150 paintings drawn from the Royal Collection at the exposition including depictions of famous royals and self-portraits.

The artworks are different based on date and place of origin, size, method of drawing and the purpose they serve. “Portrait of Artists” runs from November 4th until April 17th.
