The Afghan government admits to its failure in fighting corruption at executive and economic levels despite its strong efforts in recent years. Officials believe the root causes of corruption need to be addressed to eradicate the problem once and for all. They say the Western supporters of Afghanistan have not done enough to help Kabul in its anti-corruption campaign.
