English Premier League where Stoke City have defeated Swansea 3-1, courtesy of a brace from Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony who ended a 10-month goal drought against his former club.

The first goal came as early as the 3rd minute when Bony slotted home Joe Allen’s misdirected volley from inside the 6-yard box.

Just 5 minutes later Wayne Alvin Rutledge equalized for Swansea in a thrilling first half showdown that saw the hosts hit the post 3 times.

Alfie Mawson scored an own goal some 10 minutes into the second half to make it 2-1 to Stoke, before Bony who was again set up by Allen sealed the 3-1 win with a header in the 73rd minute.
