Chinese students have invented a type of paper you can eat without having to be concerned.

6 students from China's Southwest University have won 2nd place at Chongqing's 3rd national innovative entrepreneurship competition for their vegetable-made paper.

The paper is made of carrots, tomatoes, broccoli and purple cabbage and comes in different shades and flavors depending on the vegetable used.

The students are considering using the veggie-paper for eco-friendly movies or bus tickets. They say the tickets can be consumed orally after use, saving natural resources and preventing the creation of post-consumer waste.
