The Road to the White House II

The Road to the White House.

Why are mainstream media only concentrating on Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton? Why are 3rd parties not given the same opportunities? Why are the president and vice president not voted directly by the people in the United States? Even though based on recent polls, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are believed to be much more trustworthy than Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton, why do the mainstream media not give them the same coverage?

In the second episode, we will also take a look at the vice presidential debate, the newest polls, and what the candidates are tweeting. We have also with us: Jeremy Kuzmarov, assistant professor of history from Tulsa University and Tino Rozzo, Candidate for 2nd Congressional District. They will answer the following questions:

Question 1: By being excluded from the debate, how will Jill Stein and Gary Johnson be able to have their platforms heard?

Question 2: Many of the platforms of the Green Party are similar to the platform that Bernie Sanders had during the Democratic primary season. So why did Sanders not endorse Jill Stein, and instead he endorsed Hillary Clinton, someone he had many differences with?

Question 3: Do you believe that the American media guilt Americans into voting for a third party?

Question 4: In a recent poll, over 50 percent of Americans said that the 3rd party candidate should be in the debate and another 1/3 said they were open to it. That being said when the majority of Americans want the 3rd party candidates to participate in the debate, why are they not permitted to participate?

Question 5: Some people believe that the election laws in the United States inherently are against 3rd parties. What do you think about it?

Question 6: Is there anyway a 3rd party candidate can become the president of the United States?
